Welcome to the Paediatric Allergy and Immunotherapy Clinic

Where allergies meet their match

Helping children embrace
an
allergy-free life

At our Paediatric Allergy and Immunotherapy Clinic in Birmingham, Midlands, we specialise in providing compassionate, expert care for children with severe allergies. Our expert team understands how allergies can impact a child (and parent's) daily life, from food sensitivities to environmental triggers and asthma. Immunotherapy can provide long-lasting desensitisation and relief from a range of allergies, helping reduce symptoms and the need for medication by using personalised treatment plans tailored to each child and their allergy. Our goal is to help families navigate their children’s allergies with confidence and create a safe, comfortable environment where children receive the best possible care, taking their first steps towards living an allergy-free life, making the most of every moment.

Food allergy immunotherapy

Our food allergy immunotherapy services can help your child conquer their food allergy, including common allergens like egg, milk, peanut and sesame allergies (and many more!), desensitising them to their allergy and decreasing the chances of an allergic reaction.

Air allergen immunotherapy

We all love a dose of fresh air, but not when it brings uncomfortable allergic reactions to allergens like dust, grass and pollen. Air allergen immunotherapy helps target the immune system's negative reaction to these allergens, relieving symptoms and improving quality of life.

Food challenges

Food challenges are the gold standard test to establish whether your child is truly allergic to a specific food, and can also act as a diagnostic test to determine your child's tolerance levels to the trigger food. Food challenges are conducted under our expert supervision in a clinical setting.

Antibiotic challenges

We offer antibiotic challenges, supervised by our team of allergy experts. Antibiotic challenges are a supervised procedure where a patient is given a small, gradually increasing dose of an antibiotic to establish whether your child has a true allergy to the antibiotic.
